As AP Scholar and member of the National Honor Society, as well as English, Social Studies, and Thespian honor societies, Olivia is a stellar student; but as VP of the school's Ignite peer mentoring program and frequent director for student shows, Olivia's greatest inspiration comes from leadership. A serious swimmer since she was eight, Olivia competed at sectional championships throughout high school and was chosen as captain of her high school swim team. For twelve years, Olivia served as an active Girl Scout, honored with Silver and Gold Awards for workshops she created and led at her local library both in person and on Zoom. A member of New Rochelle High School's unique arts program, PAVE, Olivia directed, wrote, filmed, edited, and performed in numerous plays and films. She received an award at graduation in recognition of her talents, including work on a post-pandemic, online musical which received national attention from Apple and other media. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys lifeguarding at the beach and baking. Olivia is enrolled at Bard College, where she seeks new ways to combine her love of performance with her passion for politics and social action.
