Adrian enjoys all subjects, but he found himself able to explore his true passion for engineering and STEM fields upon joining his school’s robotics team. He explains his “dream of using Polymerase Chain Reaction and Recombinant DNA to pioneer advances in the study of the human genome.” Adrian participated in a program at the University of California San Diego’s Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences. He is the founder of the City of Children Orphanage Backpack and School Supply Drive, president of the robotics club, which was a VEX California State Championship Finalist, and he is president and founder of the Chess and Speed-Cubing Clubs. He will major in physics.
