Shivani Patel
Shivani Patel is a real life Lorax--she speaks for the trees. In addition to organizing community clean-ups at her local creeks, she creates daily videos for her school announcements to inspire students to get involved with eco-friendly initiatives in the community. Currently, by speaking during public comment at town hall meetings and going door-to-door petitioning, she is advocating for the environmental injustice occurring in her own community. Shivani also is the President of her school's UNICEF club, is a captain for the Multi-Cultural Youth Leaders, and is on the track team. She is always full of energy when it comes to environmental efforts.
